Hi there. Sinequan and Prozac are similar in their effects but very different
in other terms. First, Sine quan is a tricyclic antidepressant like Aventyl
or Tofranil, while Prozac is an SSRI. I haven’t heard anything concrete about
effects on memory, but I would believe based on what I know that Sineuqan is
more likely to cause side effects in general including dry mouth, urinary
retention, etc.

Ceftin, 500 mg

Thursday, December 31st, 2009

I was wondering if the following antibiotics, administered at the following
dosages, would be capable of crossing the blood-brain barrier and eradicating
b. burgdorferi spirochetes (lyme disease bug) in the CNS:

Zithromax (Azithromycin) 250 mg twice a day
Ceftin (a cephalosporin) 1 g twice daily

In addition, should the Ceftin be taken with food to enhance absorbtion?

please respond via email ry…@power.stu.rpi.edu

Thanks in advance,

Felbatol

Thursday, December 31st, 2009

Does anyone know of journal references containing information
about the case reports that Felbatol caused hematologic dyscrasias?

Source reference, or an address to write to would be helpful.
Please either Email me at R…@ins.infonet.net or at rms…@acad.drake.edu
or perhaps post so that everyone can see it if they wish.

Also, if there is anyone reading from Carter-Wallace (I think
I have the right company…), and would be willing to provide information
(the more detailed the better) about the recent developments with Felbatol,
that would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Valium sedation vs. valium orally

Thursday, December 31st, 2009

Why is it that valium sedation given IV (10 mg) produces a sleeping
patient, whereas when valium is given orally (up to 10 mg), the
patient does not fall asleep?

Soma

I was prescibed this drug for a spasm in my neck.  The doctor and
the pharmacist both warned me that it causes drowsiness, etc.

Not only does it not make me drowsy, it doesn’t seem to do anything
for the muscle spasm either.  Is this drug very effective?   Or,
am I just resistant to its effects more than the average person?
