The teaching and practice of pharmacy

Do any of you know of any software for the PalmOS that is like SimKin, or
the other kinetics packages?

Any thoughts on the new venture announced last week by Medco, Express and PCS?
Seems like they are going to build the "electronic highway" between docs
offices and pharmacies for electronic submissions.  (Or could it be between
docs offices and their mail order shops? )

BTW, How many states allow electronic submission currently?

I have sucussefully obtained myself my dream job  -dispensary tech- however
I didnt know that I was also expected to be asupervisor as well and am
looking for guidence and advice on how ti handle staff, reps, relaying
shelves, delagating. I find myself so interested in my own ‘job’ that I
either dont know what else is going on in the shop or dont care, so to
speak. All my training is dispense, dispence, dispence not buying profit
margin etc any advice will help thankyou ss

Hi,

I am doing an article on which drugs are available in the UK that aren’t
available in the rest of europe and vice versa.

Does anyone know of somewhere on the web where I could find this
information? Something like the BNF would be a good format given the option.
Basically I need to see the trade names, generic names, how they are taken
i.e. tablet, lotion… and whether they are presciption only or over the
counter.

All suggestion welcome.

I am doing a report on pharmacists in oncology.  I was wondering if you could
answer any of these questions to help me out.  

        –  What journals would someone practicing in this field read?  
        –  Are there specific textbooks devoted to this field?  
        –  Are there medical textbooks that would be of interest to someone in this
area of practice?
        –  any future trends
        –  employment outlook

If you could answer any of these or point me in the direction of a somewhere I
could find this information I would greatly appreciate it.
