David Nye, a neurologist in Wisconsin, and a frequent contributor
to sci.med, is a fan of DHE nasal spray, and can point you to a
number of pharmacies which compound it for his patients.
His email address is ny…@cnsvax.uwec.edu.

The March 1994 Neurology (Volume 44, pp. 447-453) issue ran a study by
Zielger, Ford et al. of the use of dihydroergotamine via nasal spray. The
issue of compounding the drug was not specifically addressed, but the
article may be of some interest to you. It’s the only reference to this
route of DHE administration I have ever run across.
