I have had allergies and skin problems (eczema) for a number of years. Recently, using a synthetic corto-steroid called ‘prednisone’ (short name), has been very effective in anti-inflammatory uses. Now I go directly to the pharmacy and buy it over the counter (5mg and it’s cheap). DI’ve heard that synthetic corto-steroids, the use of them over a long period of time causes some bad side effects. What kind of side effects are expected? Anyone know about this? It seems that this drug is a type of synthetic prostaglandin, correct? I would like to find out more about synthetic corto-steroids and prostaglandins both if anyone knows about them. Pls e-mail me, as I am not frequent on this newsgroup. u…@c2.hinet.net
