The teaching and practice of pharmacy

Does anyone working as a RPh in Chicago, IL know if Walgreens has a union there
for the RPhs. If so what is the name of the union?

A couple weeks ago I was very sick with a virus and had a fever of over 103
for 3 days. For a period of two days I took acetaminophen to lower the
fever. I didn’t know how lethal it could be. I didn’t take much, but I took
more than your supposed to. I took 10 tylenols (500mg each), half a Vicadin
and I think a cup of Dayquil in a 24 hour period. Comes to something like
6000mg. Ever since then I’ve been worried by what I’ve read online about how
lethal it can be and how silently it can kill. I didn’t take anything after
that, but I’m just wondering what, if any, symptoms would I feel right now
if I did some damage? I feel okay. I called poison control at the time and
they said I would be fine, but I’m still anxious about it for some reason.
I’ve felt a little off, but I also have apnea and reflux, so it’s always
hard to tell what’s caused by those conditions or something else.

Hi all. Just a quick question for you knowledgable folks. On many otc meds
there is a drug interaction warning about monoamine oxidase inhibitors. What
exactly is this. What types of medication has this. I have seen it on cough
syrup mostly, but am curious, please advise. Thankyou.

Can any of you tell me if there is an cough syrup and/or expectorant
that does NOT contain Dextromethorphan in it ?? My daughter is getting
the flu and can not take the Dextromethorphan contained in most syrups..

How long can Humalog be kept after dispensing to a reservoir for use in
an Insulin pump?
As the pump is worn next to the body for several days before changing
how much degradation takes place from body heat?
I am thinking of filling several reservoir for use ahead of time thereby
being able to diminish some of the problems found with bubbles.
