Forget the dangers, Darvocets go great with beer.

What are the side effects, dangers, etc. of Darvocet -100? I suffer from sinus
headaches and my doc always gives me Darvocets. I’ve been taking them for some
time. Probably 20 a month. They work much better than regular Tylenol, Advil, e
    tc.

I’ve tried looking up some info (at library, Physicians ref, etc.) without much
success. Does anyone (reading this) have any first-hand knowledge, research,
    etc.

It was mainly introduced as an alternative to the opiates because it
supposedly doesn’t have as much abuse potential.  But Darvocet has never
been proven any more effective against pain that Tylenol or Aspirin
alone!  As for abuse, it’s a widely abused drug whose "therapeutic" level
is very close to the toxic level (especially with alcohol) and accounts
for lots of emergency-room visits.  Taken as directed, though, it’s
neither particularly effective nor particularly dangerous. If it works
    for you, great!
